The Nazareth College Bach Children's Chorus is comprised of students ages 8 through 15 from throughout the greater Rochester area. The children, who perform from memory, have been repeatedly commended for their clear diction, musical expression, and remarkable proficiency in difficult repertoire.

The 70+ singers in the Chorus practice and learn the music on their own during the time between scheduled rehearsals. The group sessions are spent fine-tuning the singers, studying the poetry, and mastering the challenges of ensemble performance.

The Chorus is pleased to be associated with the fine music program offered by Nazareth College in Rochester, NY.

Auditions are held each year in April-May and the season runs from September to June. Informational meeting is April 9, 2005. Click here for Audition Information.

The Bach Children's Chorus has performed extensively throughout the eastern United States and Canada, often with orchestras and other youth choirs. Every year we try to visit a new city, giving concerts and visiting historic sites. We have several times sung "The Star Spangled Banner" to open professional baseball games at famous fields.
